The practical use of nuclear fission or fusion in our lives is very controversial. Some people argue that nuclear energy is a safe and cheap alternative to coal for creating electrical power. Others argue that the history of nuclear power has not shown that. It tends to cost as much or more to operate a nuclear facility as any other type of power, and there have been serious accidents. (Look up the terms "Chernoble" or "Three Mile Island" via an Internet search engine for examples.) ??? That makes no sense to me, please help!

Open Question: How to make plasma from glowing embers with EM fields/radiation?

For a science project, I am looking to find a way to take a glowing coal from a camp flame or something and re-ignite it using emitted radiation/fields. The catch is that is has to be safe for short term exposer to human tissues. I have seen and successfully replicated experiments where cell phones have popped pop corn and microwaves have turned flame into plasma so I am sure it is possible. I am looking for both a solution and an explanation for it. It must also use relatively low power like a cell phone does (for safety purposes).

Religion is an examination, a test, proposed by Allah so that in the arena of competition elevated spirits and base spirits may be distinguished from one another. Just as materials are plunged in the flame so that diamonds and coal, gold and earth, separate out from one another, so too religion is a trial concerning the obligations placed on man by Allah and a driving to competition, which is what this abode of examination consists of. In this way the elevated jewels in the mine of man’s abilities become separated out from the dross. Since the Qur’an was revealed in this abode of examination for man to be perfected through trial in the arena of competition, it will surely only allude to the hidden events of the future pertaining to this world which everyone will look, and will only open the door to the reason to a degree that proves its argument. If it mentioned them explicitly, the mystery of man’s accountability would be negated. Simply, it would be as self-evident as writing "There is no god but God" (La ilahe illallah) clearly in stars on the face of the skies. Then everyone would have to affirm it whether they wanted to or not. There would be no competition, and the examination too would go for nothing. A spirit like coal would remain on the same level of a spirit like diamonds.

Has anyone ever been baptized by flame? I will try to explain one of my encounters through my baptism. Prior to the Gulf war, in 1991.As I slept, I was paid a visit in the middle of the night by an Angel of the lord Jesus Christ. This is what happened. As I lay in my bed, I was awakened in the middle of the night by an Angel of the Lord. The Angel hovered over the roof over the room of the home were I lived. He spoke to me out of the sound of a trumpet. The sound was the tone of a middle C played on a piano, but was that of a trumpet. Out of this sound from the trumpet, I understood what the Angel said. He said “Jesus Christ is God and he came to the earth in the flesh, quick”. I understood in English but there were no audible words. That was every the Angel said, and I haven’t heard from it again. Shortly after this encounter is when my baptism by flame began. My baptism consisted of many trials and encounter. But, what I wish to discuss was the soul of a man who came in the middle of the night. He came to deliver a message with many meanings. This is what happened that night As I was sleeping in my bedroom I was awaken in the middle of the night by the presence of a soul of a man standing at the foot of my bed. He was bad and what I was about to encounter was beyond believable. This was my reaction. There was no thought involved. I leaped from my bed in a bound, landing on my feet before him. In what must have been a split second, I threw a right punch landing to the left of his nose. I swung so difficult my feet lifted of the ground as I lunged at him. My fist past straight threw his head. I quickly gasp for air and leaped back in horror at his presence. The blow had no affect, and he had no reaction. He had arrive for a reason, and I was about to find out why. He was horrid, and I wreathed in anguish from the pains of his presence. This is why! This man / soul radiated from the pains associated with Hell. He was like a coal pulled from the flame with the pains associated with Hell. His soul was yellow in color from sulfur. He had also reaped what he sewed while living in the body. By this I mean, the pains he had caused those who lived on earth with him had been reaped / gathered by Angels, and spiritually sewn into his soul. He had been judged! He now lives for eternity with those pains he had caused others! Whatever this man had done, it must have been terrible. It seemed to me the most horrid, awful pain, a soul could ever encounter. I truly believe a man could have died from this experience! As I stepped back to receive away from him I screamed,”Oh my God”! It was as if he unveiled his pain by opening his soul to me. I had been having experiences with the dead and witchcraft prior to this. I slept with a golden colored crucifix of Christ tied around my neck with a shoe lace. As I stood in horror and anguish from his presence he turned to leave walking toward the olive tree located in the back yard. He took a few steps away, turned back, and looking at me, he said speaking through his mind, “cease preaching to people”. Although he spoke through his mind to me, I screamed at him “my dad told me to adore him and my neighbor and that is what I will do”. He began to walk toward me, when I lifted my cross pointing it at him. I demanded, saying “as Jesus Christ is my lord and savior I command you to leave.” He turned and walked out of the room towards the olive tree. When he left the room he was gone. This was one of my encounters with the dammed through my baptism. Through my experiences I’ve learned the meaning of Jesus parable about the weeds being gathered and placed into bundles. The bundles are Hell, Hades, Death, and possibly more. The lake of flame is the final judgment. And, the lesson learned is that no man ever wants anything to do with damnation / Horror and pain!!!

Open Question: Does anyone know a trucker willing to haul coal from Knight Hawk Mine, IL to Central Missouri?

I am in no rush. I would be willing to wait until a trucker who was coming back empty and needed something to haul. In Missouri, you cannot even purchase coal by the truck load. Most truck firms don't want to bother with non-contract customers. I am willing to take up to 14 ton of good difficult lump/stoker coal. I am looking at time frame of 6 month or less.

Open Question: Questions about nonrenewable energy? Oil? Natural gas?

oil, natural gas, coal, nuclear fission, nuclear fusion are the main 5 im interested about... i don't know very much about every of them but i know about some of them... mostly oil and coal... anyways for each of those what are the availability, economics, environmental impact, and health concerns relating to each and each other?

Open Question: Do you think one of if not THE most thankless job in wrestling is actually being a booker?

If you have a good idea and it works out, you receive no credit at every and are lucky if you ever receive a little credit If your idea does any shade of bad, you receive full blame and are raked over the coals for it for eternity (Vince Russo) I think we fans have alot of great ideas, but I as much as we play booker on here, I don't think any of us would want the job full time BQ: If you were offered a position as booker of WWE, TNA, or Ring of Honor, would you honestly take it? The thing is, you can't leave this position for one year, so you need to have one full year of 'good' ideas. If you bomb, you go down as possibly the worst booker of that promotion in history. Would you take the chance?

Resolved Question: Carbon Dioxide to be buried under the sea?!?

Carbon Dioxide to be buried below the sea?! Still in effort to combat global warming, the developer of a coal-powdered electric plant proposes that the plant's carbon dioxide emissions be caught and plumed beneath the ocean floor. SCS Energy hopes that such step will trap the gas in the water for eons, and keep it away from the atmosphere. While such a plan had been thought up before it has never gotten off the ground because the projected costs have always been too high. Besides, the scientific community isn’t even sure that the plan will work in the first place. The plan involves pumping liquid carbon dioxide through a two-foot-diameter steel pipe that would direct it to an offshore well. There the carbon dioxide will be buried into a layer of sandstone one mile below the ocean floor. Critics question the practicality of turning carbon dioxide to liquid and keeping it in that state while transporting it through 70 miles of pipeline. To do that, a temperature of -78 degrees centigrade and a pressure of 75 lbs. per square inch need to be maintained throughout the pipe, and the pipe needs to be well insulated or it will develop a coatinf of ice, which can compromise the pipe’s integrity. Accomplishing these conditions will need an immense amount of money. SCS Energy, however, believes that its proposal could work. It hopes to receive part of its financing from federal tax credits. The pipe could also carry emissions from other nearby factories, a valuable service should the US government decide to impose stricter regulations on emissions. A similar project is already being done in Norway, at the Sleipner gas field, which has been burying greenhouse gas below the sea floor for 13 years. However, the amount of carbon dioxide it buries is less than a fourth of the amount expected to be buried by SCS Energy. what are your reactions about this matter ??
